When using a cloud hosted tier 1 VM for D365 x++ development, you may run into the following error:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your connection isn’t private.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attackers might be trying to steal your information from <D365URL.com> (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards).<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

NET::ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

This error may appear scary, however the underlying issue is there is a certificate on your VM that needs to be recycled. This has a very easy fix, you can go to LCS and find the cloud hosted environment for the related VM.  From here you can click, Maintain > Rotate secretes > Rotate SSL certificate.<\/p>\n\n\n

This will take a few minutes, once it is complete you can restart your VM. Then you will be all good to go!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
